to know the power that lay within
allows an opening to begin
it isn’t loud, it is not one sign
it is a gentle nudge from the divine
it feels like home, a safe place to land
a space so quiet, yet so grand
wordless, shapeless, real as space
it is an opening to divine grace
this space is not one that you can embody all day
but it is one that will always stay
it will be there during dark + light
knowing it’s presence makes everything all right
so when i am feeling overwhelmed by the stories in my mind,
i pray, breath, and make sure to treat mySelf kind
it is me against me, no other can enter
this is where i find my center
throughout all time
between each scene
gifted with ability
to be seen
i choose to stand in my power
my strength, my knowing
i choose to keep growing
